It’s all going according to plan.Russia suffered more combat deaths in Ukraine in the first year of the war than in all of its wars since World War II combined, according to a new CSIS analysis of the force disposition and military operations of Russian and Ukrainian units. The average rate of Russian soldiers killed per month is at least 25 times the number killed per month in Chechnya and 35 times the number killed in Afghanistan,

Sounding like a russian official.
then get out the thread you plank, its about a war in ukraine.I mean, I get the need for bravado and fuck Russia and Putin but Zelenskyy is an arrogant motherfucker - he talks like he's the most powerful man in the world! This reads like he's ordering the USA around. Im kinda getting sick of seeing and hearing him now. He's getting on my tits.

Things are already not going well for Ukraine. The fact they are entering their 2nd year in this conflict shows that. I don't believe it will escalate beyond Ukraine. Russia has done poorly in this conflict; it can't afford to enter another. That said, Russia will not leave Ukraine or what it has conquered this far.I believe if things don't go well for Ukraine it'll escalate beyond, and if that happens it's going to weigh heavy on many.
If Zelensky and his Western bosses think that American kids are going to die for Ukraine, they're going to be in for a shock. Americans are not going to accept any sort of warfare that includes conscription. It just isn't going to happen. The young people will not comply and their families won't allow it either.
Oh look, another down is up, backwards nonsense San Marino postThings are already not going well for Ukraine. The fact they are entering their 2nd year in this conflict shows that. Russia is currently sitting on most of that.Consider the recent discovery of lot of natural gas, all the farm lands, and oil pockets found there. They could ultimately undermine russia the recent discoveries. They could be a key to Europe energy issue.
Russia is currently sitting on most of that.
Key to Europe's energy issue? I don't think so.
I suspect he (Zelenskyy) could be right, eventually and the way this is going.
I do not think many young people in America have considered this either.
I wonder if they will still support Ukraine when it happens?
Yes a Question I'm sure.
Narrative? What do you mean?
It's like you're going out of your way to be obtuse.

President Zelenskyy like many people who grew up in the Soviet Union are quite direct in their manner of speech. He was asked a direct question and he answered accordingly. President Zelenskyy is quite eloquent when he speaks in Russian. I would put him right up there with former President Obama. He's also quite logical/rational. So all these clips are looking to do is make him look delusional/irrational. Like most propaganda it's quite low level of effort.
Clearly time and again, pro Russian posters go out of their way to paint President Zelenskyy as entitled, pushy, out of touch, war mongerer, etc etc. He's none of those things. He is desperate and he doesn't have time for games and politics. That is the Soviet mindset (without the propaganda and other nonsense you get out of the Kremlin).
President Zelenskyy is exactly correct. If Putin was allowed to simply roll over Ukraine, he'd be going for more like the former Soviet Republics of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. I won't even bother adding Moldova since it's not part of NATO. The logic from current Kremlin apologists would be the same....do you really want your kids to die over Latvia? Estonia? Can you even find them on a map? Who cares....Trump should have took US out of NATO...or similar type of nonsense....what is Article 5 anyway? Europe don't pay enough....on and on...
Realistically if Russia moves on one of the former Baltic countries, US would absolutely send American troops to defend them. What aim did we have to be in Afghanistan for 20 years? Iraq? Far fewer reasons and yet there we were. We lost trillions and thousands of lives with little reason.
So yea, send the weapons to Ukraine it needs now or risk sending your children later. The choice is yours.
