They really tried something at Vuhledar.
For an army that's so heavily dependant on tanks/armor in their warfare, they sure don't seem to be using them that well

Alright back to military stuff.

I think Ukraine utilized the wrong defensive strategy in the past few months. Instead utilizing flexible defense counterattacking when Russians are overextended, they held on to areas that are difficult to supply and defend. The Bakhmut/Soledar/Siversk lines should have been pulled back 2 months ago. Some people argue that they're bleeding the Russians by holding on stubbornly, but the opposite is also true. The combat experienced mechanized brigades are losing men and equipment in these siege battles which Russia is better equipped for. Russians have more artillery, armor and manpower for the meat grinder. Ukraine has proven to be able to execute complicated field maneuvers that can punch through Russian lines (i.e. Kharkiv) but instead chose a slugfest.

It's a repeat of May/June all over again.

IMO Ukraine decided to stick to defense to regroup, arm up with new supplies of western gear/tech, and allow more time for trained troops from NATO countries to get back to Ukraine and back towards the front. It's an incredibly complex orchestra of logistics and timing is so important. Russia is starting to push now because they want to get some gains before the western armor starts showing up in decisive numbers. Luckily they aren't having much success

this and covid thread shows how the goys are retarded.
i feel so disgusted by homo sapiens.
i wish i was a neanderthal.

Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, February 4, 2023.

Key Takeaways:
  • A Russian decisive offensive operation is unlikely to target Zaporizhia City from the western Donetsk–Zaporizhia frontline.
  • Russian forces have not shown the capacity to sustain the multiple simultaneous large-scale offensive operations that would be necessary to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk Oblast and seize Zaporizhia City.
  • The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) has launched a series of efforts to restructure and consolidate the mismatched blend of irregular forces supporting Russia’s war in Ukraine into Russia’s conventional military forces.
  • The Russian MoD’s decision to undertake significant structural reform while preparing for a major offensive in eastern Ukraine likely represents an effort by Russian Chief of the General Staff Army General Valery Gerasimov to complete reforms while he has Russian President Vladimir Putin’s often fleeting favor.
  • Wagner financier Yevgeny Prigozhin is overcompensating for his declining influence by continuing to frame himself as the sole victor in the Bakhmut area.
  • Russian and Ukrainian officials exchanged 63 Russian POWs for 116 Ukrainian POWs.
  • Russian forces conducted limited offensive operations northwest of Svatove and continued offensive operations around Kreminna.
  • Russian forces continued offensive operations around Bakhmut and Vuhledar but have slowed the pace of their offensives along the western outskirts of Donetsk City.
  • Ukrainian forces continue to target Russian military assets in east (left) bank Kherson Oblast.
  • Russian authorities are attempting to reinvigorate force generation efforts by drawing from broader pools of manpower.

casualties according to mossad

This is sounding like the Paraguay war in the 1800s when the dictator refused to surrender to brazil and sacrifice the ENTIRE male population of the country. They had to marry boys to adult women to keep the ethnicity alive. Zelensky is sacrificing all the male adult population fit to combat.

lmao these are fucking trash

Russia are the ones that backed out of those negotiations anyways, not Ukraine. The whole "story" is falling apart. Also lots of hebrew speakers pointing out this is not a correct interpretation of the interview on twitter. Also hilarious that an Israeli PM would suggest ceding land for peace.

giphy.gif
its been stated in these threads before that russias terms for peace talks were that they keep all the land they had captured at the start before they lost some, thats in no way a credible deal for the ukranians to accept, NATO knows it, they also know you can trust putins word as far as you can throw an elephant, of course they rejected it. but at the end of the day its not up to NATO its up to ukraine what terms they accept, Israel themselves would never accept those terms either.

I believe that the Israeli guy believes it, because he is starting from the premise that Putin was negotiating in good faith.

The Israeli minister might believe that, but I don’t, not for a single second, which causes the whole narrative the San Marinos of the world want to push to collapse under its own weight.

Not entertaining a deal you know to be bullshit offered in bad faith is not the same thing as squashing a legitimate peace proposal.
Yeah IMO there is a very complex relationship between Russia and Israel and I'm not enough of an expert to parse what's going on with that.

The front lines have devolved into WW1 style trench warfare. The Ukrainians can't really counterattack because they don't have the equipment to do so yet. So the only choice is to hold on in this attritional warfare until they get enough mechanized hardware to do a big counter offensive.

The people advocating for "peace" by allowing Russia to just keep the land they've taken are straight retarded.

Vladimir Putin's Soldiers Starving In Ukraine, Surviving On Only 'Instant Noodles' & Potatoes Cooked On 'Rockets'

"Vladimir Putin’s forces are starving in Ukraine and are forced to survive on only potatoes, onions and instant noodles cooked using the back ends of rockets, RadarOnline.com has learned.

In a surprising development to come as Russia’s death toll recently surpassed 500,000, one Russian soldier spoke out to reveal the Russian military’s food situation has not changed even 12 months after first invading Ukraine in February 2022.

Even more shocking was recently released footage of a Russian battlefield kitchen that indicated Putin’s soldiers are struggling to survive as their options for food and nutrients are severely limited.

That is the revelation shared by one Russian soldier named Sedoy who recently spoke to the pro-Kremlin news outlet Moskovskij Komsomolets to speak openly about the poor food conditions he and his fellow soldiers suffer in Ukraine, according to Daily Star."

This came up in my newsfeed. I can't verify that it's 100% gospel, but it's very telling if true.

instant noodles eh, so basically, they are on a college student diet..

The woman is scared shitless. They really should get her out of there. Not sure she would do well at a 4th of July fireworks celebration.
She'll have permanent PTSD within another week.

Israel have far more in common with Russian in this situation than Ukraine so no surprise they might urge Ukraine to consider accepting such shitty terms.

Snips from the interview:
- He brokered a tentative peace deal back in March 2022 and Ukraine and Russia came close to ceasefire
- Putin promised not to kill Zelensky
- Ukraine will drop attempt to join NATO
- Russia will drop demand to disarm Ukraine
- Johnson, Macron, Scholz and Biden vetoed the deal stating Russia needs to be punished. Johnson was the most belligerent followed by Biden. Macro and Scholz were on the pragmatic side.

Short Clip

Full Interview (Long)

Can somebody explain why Israel finds it so important to remain on good terms with Russia? Russia backs Syria & Iran and yet the Israeli's have looked for every opportunity to avoid upsetting Russia. I am not aware of any huge resource dependence, they go against Israeli interest, at least on a surface level, I don't get it.

Lol, the former Israeli PM giving an interview is "russian propaganda"

I came here to post this tho, pretty interesting interview. If true, Biden completely owns this conflict.

Of course he does , Maybe old Joe should have cut the ribbon and drove the first tank in UKR to help deNazify . If you believe any "negotiations" with Putin will work out long term for you then are a unique kind of stupid. Even if this was true rewarding him for his war and land grabs isnt going to stop him in the future. Taking a knee to Putin doesnt work even though you want it to. You might as well take your white flag and shove it up your own ass. Putin has poked the bear to many times and is going to pay for it this time no matter what the "surrender" boys want.
