Totally unfair that physically disabled dudes who would get rekt by ~90% of the population can't make a living as professional fighters

In reality UFC FLWs would beat over 99% of the population in a fight. Even if we count only western males between age 20-40, less than 5 % of those would have a combat sport background worth of mentioning, and only a small % of them would be skilled/big enough to beat UFC level FLWs.

If we count the whole population of the world (which is the term you used), it would be over 99,9%.

Maybe if your a big name you can get paid by One but how many 125ers are actually names? Not that many at all. Makes no sense to risk making less money and hit free agency. The majority of guys should stick around, not have to cut weight and ride is out as long as your under contract.

They weren't getting paid much in the UFC anyway. The UFC is canning most of them and not giving them the option anyway. That should tell you a lot.

There are 29 fighters at 125 and 55 fighters at 135

they are hardly going to combine them into a division of 84 fighters

(which would be bigger than featherweight, middleweight, light heavy and heavyweight )


seems like common sense to me.

I would say a LOT of those 55 bantamweights are going to get cut as well.

They should merge 125 and 135 instead, as a 130lb division. If you're too big for that, then save yourself the heavy weight cut and go up to 145.

Ngannou vs Lewis was just a freak accident and the 2nd one i didn't even watch. Also i think all boring fucks should be cut from the UFC. And also... lets be honest.. On average its the medium weight classes who bring the most heat. LW-LHW.
