When I wake up in the morning, I am 6 foot and a quarter. I consider myself average. However, my cousin is exactly 5 foot 9 (measured by the Doctor). I took a picture of Woodley and my cousin years ago. He had an inch on Woodley. Woodley is a max 5 foot 8 when he wakes up. I would peg his height between 5 foot 7.5 to 5 foot 8 inches. He was built like a truck though. This was before he became champ in 2016.

Romero is listed as 6’0 but is the same height as Conor in a picture where they were standing side by side. Also Eddie Alvarez is far from 5’9. Why can’t they just get properly measured. It would also be nice to know the leg reach, that is arguably more important than arm reach.

I remember initially Gustafsson's reach was ridiculously wrong and listed at something like 70 inches, and idiots spent years claiming that he had "T-Rex arms" despite the fact that they're clearly proportional to his body.

I didn't realize how many people lied about their height until I wrestled in college and saw the rosters listed height. People 2-3 inches shorter than my 5'6 self saying they are 5'11. People are ridiculous. Probably spent too much time on sherdog and got in their own heads.

Wow I didn't believe the Pepey one so I checked the Elkins fight and they really list him as 5'7. Herb Dean is said to be 6'1. Pepey appears to be about his height in this pic. There's no way he's even close to 5'7 unless Herb Dean's height is way off.

He is AT LEAST 3 inches taller.
Just look at the base of their neck's height ( good indicator ).. You'll see when they weigh in/fight and they are without shoes/with boxing shoes..

UFC heights have always been quite a joke.
Just to be more professional, each fighter should get properly measured, once and for all, at the UFC PI or the UFC Apex (whenever they are next in Vegas) by ONE person using ONE simple machine (it's a horizontal strut that moves up and, ain't rocket science) and that's the fighter's OFFICIAL height and to hell with all these fake heights that the UFC randomly use and randomly change. It doesn't ultimately matter *that* much but it's just a bit of a joke as some are demonstrably 2 or 3 inches off.

Over-exaggerated heights is a part of UFC promotion at heavier divisions. "Carwin is a 6'5" monster of a man who cuts from 300 lbs" - Rogan. While Carwin had admitted on Reddit that he is really 6'0.5" or 6'1" in shoes.
