So I quietly went into this ppv with the assumption that the bloodline story was the best thing going in wrestling right now, Gunther was awesome, the women's division isn't that strong despite asuka, Ripley, and a few others, and Wyatt is great outside the ring but sucks farts inside it. I think I was probably spot on there in my opinion.

Still though the bloodline story is worth watching alone. Sami Zayn deserves an Oscar

Cody plays a better heel, and I have a feeling people will get tired of him as a face fairly quickly.
If they put Sami in the Rumble and had Cody still win that would have sped up the process. It's also possible that WWE chased any fans away that would have objected to Cody 5 years ago and now he's just over by default lol

To add to what you're saying about the Bloodline and Sami, I think Sami needed the interaction with Jey for all this to work too.

This isn't a knock on anyone else in the Bloodline, but Jey's really stepped up during all this as well.

But Sami is out there hitting home runs each and every night he does something.

But he's just the equivalent to doink according to some people

That ending...sure people have their opinions about wrestling, and there is alot of predictable/lame writing. However, when this form of entertainment "gets it right", it's right up there with the best that any other medium can provide....and chasing that feeling is what keeps us coming back.
This is what Pro Wrestling at the highest level is supposed to be.

Absolutley right. It increased the tension every week, and then just when jey accepts Sami,Roman put the tension even harder on Sami, and it was close to bottoming out every week. It took so long for Jey to accept Sami, that he cant just go back to the way it was on the flick of a switch.

We saw that they didn't last year and it was arguably the best booking of a face that WWE has done in 20 years. He was over, wasn't cheesy, they keep Brandy far far away and just his appearances were advertised as ratings draws. They made him a star consistently for months until he was injured. They know how to do babyface when they want to and they can do it with him

From everything I've seen with this Uncle Howdy shit since he came back, he sucks farts outside the ring also.
I have a soft spot for the kinda goofy stuff but the in ring aspect has to be just as good
