Media Rory McDonald torn up Mcgregor’s MCL and ACL in both knees. Mcgregor beasts through the injury.

He did, yeah. I think he tore a ligament while planting his foot for one of the spinning heel kicks that he was spamming in every fight until that very occurrence.

Might be an extremely ironic thing to say considering how Conor is these days, but his mental fortitude really was no joke.

His mental fortitude was definitely something else.

No way it was injured that bad. IIRC there was never any surgery. My guess is it was actually a meniscus tear which is common and stem cell fixes pretty easily.

Conor doesn't fight if he has a pinky injury

Young Conor was truly something else…

“When he fought Mendes for the belt, in the documentary, they didn’t actually show the full truth,” Lobov told Ariel Helwani. “He messed up his knee training with Rory MacDonald. I was there in Canada when it happened.

Conor took him down, and Rory jumped scissor sweep right on his knee, and the crack was so loud.
“I was there when Professor [Neal] ElAttrache rang us and said, ‘Conor, you are not fighting. You need another year. potentially two years, and another surgery.’ Conor just said, ‘No, f— this, I’m fighting’ and put the phone down.

“We couldn’t even train for the camp. You know, he was just doing rehab the whole time. In the documentary, they showed when his knee went. That’s actually the good knee that went. So, his ACL was messed up on one knee, and as we were training, doing grappling, with three or four weeks left to the fight, he messed up his other knee, his MCL, and meniscus went in his other knee.

“So, now he was on no legs. You know, he had zero legs, he had one leg, and now he is suddenly on zero legs. Then Mendes gets put in rather than Aldo. A wrestler, we couldn’t wrestle at all in camp. So, this was just the worst fight you could possibly imagine.

“And what does he do? ‘I’m fighting. I don’t give a f—.’

Rory was a serious beast back in the days, 2013-2017 Rory is a savage. One of the best of never being a champion.

At tristar he was being called the heir of GSP, with a reason.

I remember he tore one of his cl's (acl I think) in the Holloway fight, I wonder if that and this injury potentially lead to his change in fight stance/style.

Then he bitched out of a fight because of a pinky toe...got it.

I think it’s more to do with fighting above 155+, he’s less mobile and habits he carried into MMA from training that Boxing bout with Floyd. He still fought essentially the same post Holloway bout.

As usual you have nothing of substance to say

You're too biased, in your feelings and stubborn to actually listen and acknowledge other truths but your own.

I've demonstrated infinitely more fight iq and insight than you ever have.

But you have tunnel vision, you only see your own aide and ignore the rest.

Its like arguing with a cult tier vegan

Or an old man who's supremely stuck in his ways.

All you've done is contradict yourself which proces your ineptitude.

I literally just quoted your stuff back at you showing the contradiction.

I'm amused that you cant even talk about the thread topic. You're style of debate is very similar to volcom. Which is to bring up things that are irrelevant to the thread topics, fling insults and say nothing. I guess thats what you have to resort to after cuz I made you feel dumb

I think you continually represent yourself as a hater, someone who's always in his emotions, and projecting his own biases onto whatever topic you're involved in.

It's less about being objective about the actual topic, but more of a projection of your own inner issues and biases.

You go through immense mental gymnastics just to feed your own distorted echo chambers, which doesn't reflect how the higher level analysts and elites in the sport see things at all.

This has been respectfully pointed out to you many times, but you're stuck in a cycle of endless doubling down, not listening, while continuing to repeat the same things even when they're painfully wrong.

Have you ever wondered why not a single top level analyst or fighter shares your thinking? But yet you continue doubling down as if you couldn't possibly be wrong

Then you say I have ego. No, I'm just realistic, and I also know when someone is perpetually full of shit and can't see past their own delusions.

This thread is simply more of the same. You trying to find yet another way to play the hater.
