Rory has as good if not better takedowns (I'd say it's equal) but the thing is, Rory is the bigger stronger guy. He will surpass GSP within the next year if he already hasn't. Look for him to have the best year for 2013.

In a really odd way....I actually agree.

It's very difficult to explain, because it's mainly subtle and suggestive elements that lead me to agree with you.

Rory / GSP had a similar gameplan against Condit, and GSP just proved to have far better ground control / defense. Outside of that I think Rory showed us a lot in that fight as a young, green athlete. The kid is a beast.

I bet you 100$ that GSP would agree with the TS.

Rory isn't on par with GSP in terms of striking, footwork, controlling distance. I would question his wrestling as well. He hasn't faced the kind of elite wrestlers GSP has.
