I’m not a vegan, and def not a Ronda fan... but he makes a valid point (in my opinion) about her raving how she loved this cow, treated it like a family pet, and in the same breath says she killed it. Does seem like an odd way of presenting it... but, hey, if she’s cool with killing something she loves, then have at it. I’d rather just call a cow what it is...an in n out burger that’s ripening.

Taking care of an animal affectionately then eventually killing it is actually a part of our history as humans who domesticate animals. I think it’s only with the advent of mass production and the industrialization of the cattle industry that we began to treat animals like nothing.

Its much more humane to treat an animal right and then eventually kill it, then eat it (I mean we are omnivorous for a reason) than it is to treat an animal coldly, as if it’s just walking meat, then kill it.
