Meltzer, who is our consensus best source for actual PPV numbers said 189 looks like 800-850k. 190 did 5 TIMES AS MUCH TRAFFIC. No one is saying it did 4 million+...They are taking into account the variables. Meltzer wrote an article pertaining to Dana's statement of 'Trending higher than 189' and didn't disagree with him in the least.

Hate? No, I have no reason to hate and unlike many of you, I don't need to act like X fighter is a superstar just because I'm a fan
500k.. I said lets just say it did that, the ufc are obviously going to act like it did a lot more because of all the interest, not saying it did 500k but even if did that would have been a good number

I read she has the same manager with The Rock, so yes, that's why she probably gets the 10 second movie role in Fast&Furious and the fact that she is friends with The Rock who was in the movie, attractive? lol, I didn't want to bring that in but you did.
 
She's an (objectively) attractive chick who reinforces the ol' "anything boys can do girls can do too!" motto. Add in the fact that she beats every opponent in 7 seconds; akin to Mike Tyson in the late 80's.



We now have a recipe for America's wet dream... She's reached a level of stardom where celebrities and casuals who've never even heard of UFC are all obsessed with her now.

Yourre confused that the ufc over hype their fighters? and make them into bigger stars than they actually are

No one says she isn't selling, but acting as if she is a huge huge star helps their imaage

You're trying to poke holes in the methods Meltzer, Blotter and the UFC used to come up with their buy-rate, but you're not proposing a better methodology, or even what method you used to come up with the 500k number, probably because you just made it up.

For those who don't know, UL has been trying to "prove" Rousey doesn't sell PPVs for YEARS. He said the only reason UFC 170 did over 300k buys was because of Cormier vs Cummins and Rory vs Maia...
