Since her fight on the August 1st, Ronda Rousey is the most searched of any Wikipedia entry on google (besides wikipedia itself).

For those interested the rankings are

1. wikipedia
2. ronda rousey
3. deadpool
4. google
5. fantastic four

This is truly a testament to how much mainstream attention she is bringing to the sport.
 
That's pretty cool. I wonder why people are using Wikipedia to search for Wikipedia? I guess to learn about the company or site before they use it.

However, this is really a flavor of the month stat.
Deadpool is one of the most searched for entries. Is Deadpool bigger than Superman or Batman? Nope, he just is right now because of the upcoming movie. Same with fantastic 4
 
So that MUST mean she is a huge PPV star and that these people also buy the PPV...

Well she kicked Conor's ass without a world tour, international fight week, a 6 part documentary and 20 embeddeds. That's saying something....right?

What the ufc is saying though is that that this card did 1m or 900k

And that is total BS, just because they are looking at all the traffic relating to her name, it doesn't make her a PPV star, ufc are just cashing in on this hype and making it as if this PPV blew out every other PPV this year.

500k... lets just say that's what the PPV did, that's good, but ufc is just cashing in on this and making it seem like it did much more and no one will know what the real figure is anyway

And she is a bigger star than Conor, having some good contacts had made that happen, friends with The Rock who got her the role in Fast & Furious and helped her with the WWE role

This is very true. For comparison however Conor Mcgregor was #32 during the 8 days after the Mendes fight.

Meltzer, who is our consensus best source for actual PPV numbers said 189 looks like 800-850k. 190 did 5 TIMES AS MUCH TRAFFIC. No one is saying it did 4 million+...They are taking into account the variables. Meltzer wrote an article pertaining to Dana's statement of 'Trending higher than 189' and didn't disagree with him in the least.

500k? Where did you pull that number from genius? Ronda's previous PPV? And you want me to just agree with that? Fucking Lol.

Oh, she is a massive star because she is The Rock's friend right? Not because she is making headlines around the world for being among the most dominant fighters in History AS WELL as being an (arguably) attractive young lady..

The hate is strong in you. The logic, not so much.
 
dana probably pays the ufc workers to just keep on searching rousey in wikipedia.
