Zuffa aren't publically owned so don't have to release the actual official PPV stats. They can exagerate all they like, it benefits them to do so.
Cable operators take 50% of the PPV sales, distributor takes 10%, so UFC gets about 40%. They then have to pay for the fighters purses (Around $2 million), marketing ($1 million) and various other expenses eg staff salary, logistics and putting on the event etc
Say they did do $900 000 buys, approx $50 milion revenue. Zuffa get 40% (that's a high estimate as it doesn't allow for other cuts of the PPV that go to various unmentioned sources)
Zuffa therefore get $30 million, then pay around $5 million in expenditure. That leaves them with $25 million.
For Ronda to make more than $92,500 per second, she would need to make around $2.5 million. To make twice as much as Floyd, she'd need to make $5 million.
Anyone who thinks the UFC is giving away between 10-20% to one fighter is living in a fantasy land.
Those figures are all IF the UFC did 900 000 buys....which it didnt.
Extremely flawed post and you are the one living in fantasy land if you think you can somehow come close to figuring out the contact from a top PPV star on the UFC roster by using high level math.
So far we know UFC 190 web traffic is pointing towards a massive PPV(bigger than 189) and Dave Meltzer is backing this up as well with the below link.

Unless you have SOME evidence then we are going to assume UFC 190 did 900,000 ppv buys. Would you agree?
Couture's contract from 7 years ago was the following
Less than 100,000 buys: No money
100,000-175,000 buys: $1.00/buy
175,000-300,000 buys: $1.50/buy
300,000-330,000 buys: $2.00/buy
Over 330,000 buys: $3.00/buy
This means Ronda made $2,262,500 including (show/win bonus, Performance of the Night bonus, Reebok sponsorship). This is assuming Rousey is using a contract from a top fight of 7 years ago. There is no logical reason to believe Rousey would have a worse contract than this since Couture's from 7 years ago. Most likely Ronda made more than $2.3 million if you account for inflation/UFC ppv price increase.
