Former Strikeforce and current Invicta FC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg was quickly interviewed by TMZ, and as you would expect, the main focus was on her 135 lbs rival, Ronda Rousey. The former UFC champion went on The Ellen Show and told host Ellen DeGeneres that she experienced suicidal thoughts following her 2nd round KO defeat to Holly Holm at UFC 193.

When asked about Rousey's comments, as well as new champion Miesha Tate's quip that "it seems like her motivation to stick around was to have Travis Browne's baby," Cyborg questioned Rousey's mental strength.

"I think it's weak mind, you know? Because when you fight, you can lose, you can win," Cyborg said. "It's a sport. You cannot think you want suicide because you lose one fight."

"Some people handle it better than others."

Cyborg doesn't have her next Invicta FC title defense lined up, but she said of Rousey that the two of them "have to fight before she finishes [her career]." Her own manager, however, thinks it's a longshot that the Brazilian knockout artist ever makes it to the Octagon.

Suicide is some serious shit

Ronda is one step below a child. I wouldn't expect her to handle someone getting a larger scoop of ice cream let alone losing a fight.

Holly turned Ronda into a mere breeding vessel for Travis Browne. Her own words.

I've said it before and I'll say it again Ronda is a front runner.

Considering she has a family history of suicide: Stay classy, Cryroid.

I'd say feeling the need to pump yourself full of banned substances because you don't have enough confidence in your talents also speaks to one having a weak mind.

Isn't Cyborg fighting at UFC 198? Or was that just rumor?

Man do you know how long ago that was and every single point that could be touched on has been hit on. Do you actually think that she don't know this or has not had her mother screaming in her ear about only cowards kill themselves in most cases. Their not one single reason for this thread because it is not helping her nor anybody else because its an example of what not to do. Just trying to drag her through the mud because she has not be getting that much casual clinger bullshit lately. With that said if she is 18 years old and wants to part her head like a canoe, she can it she is an adult I don't know if its legal but that don't matter your gone anyway. I would pretty fucking ashamed of myself if I could not find anything else to talk about than somebody else's suicide thought.

She was still knocked shitless by Holly whenever she had those "thoughts."

Her mind got bounced around pretty good.

It really did.
Literally & figuratively.

Imagine losing and then learning that just about everybody legit hates you and is laughing at you. That's a mind f...

...and deserves has nothing to do with it.

Ronda is in the wrong profession if this how she deals with losing. Suicide is serious and for her own good she should stay away from the sport.

Did she really come into a combat sport thinking that she would never lose? She had to have at least known there was a possibility. She is reacting like an emo teen that got dumped by her first boyfriend, which is bizarre, because she was marketed as the symbol for women empowerment.

I feel like everyone who mattered already weighed in on Ronda weeks or months ago

Her comments I think may have been taken too seriously. Even Bas said it's not unnatural to have dark thoughts after a big loss, even though you'd never really act on them, your mind wanders.

A proven steroid cheat talking about someone having a weak mind? Talk about irony.

Ronda says she is "undefeated" yet still wanted to kill herself after not being beaten , weird combo of ideas.
