He moved his gym from Los Angeles to Montana during covid then closed it down. I trained at the LA location a couple of times years ago and didn’t get the impression that regulars were there based on his UFC performances. And back then Kron trained for fights up north with the Diaz bros anyway.

His dad hasn’t had a gym for a very long time. But he used to do seminars all over and occasionally dropped by Kron’s gym to teach. He’s now fighting Parkinson’s so probably not teaching much if at all.

He tried, he failed, no shame in that. He got some wins in Rizin and a win in the UFC, plus took some decent fighters to a decision. That’s something to be proud of.

Not the most talented Gracie, but he tried his best. Very good submission grappler.
