rousey fought two fights ... that's it ... two fights. No one is paying to watch her train. We fans pay to watch them fight and she just fought twice and made this list filled with Tennis superstars that play a WHOLE LOT MORE than 2 matches a year.

It's pathetic because 7 years ago Joe Rogan (and most likely you) were telling us how boxing was being swallowed.

It's funny/pathetic to see ONE MAN getting paid more than the entire roster will in the next 10 years off of one 36 minute fight.

No ... instead he ran for 36 minutes Do you believe that was something someone should have been paid 180 million for? No ... but did Floyd get 4.4 million people to fork over 100 bucks each to see his "fight"? Yes.

So ... he deserves it. He got that many people to buy that PPV for that price. No UFC event has even gotten close to that.

Has Ronda gotten 4.4 million buys at 100 dollars?

Has Cain?
Has GSP?

This is a BUSINESS. You guys all want UFC fighters to be paid more and more and more and make stupid comparisons to athletes and sports organizations that are 100000x more successful than the UFC.

If the UFC is paying their fighters so little and it is an affordable business that someone can pay the fighters far more money ... then why did Pride, Affliction, Strikeforce, and many more DIE? Considering how lucartive you guys believe the UFC is ... and how little they pay their fighters, it should be childsplay for anyone with money to create their own brand and beat the UFC. Note Strikeforce was on National TV before the UFC was ... and they failed. Pride was highly considered as superior to the UFC for years by many MMA fans and they failed. So ... why do they keep failing?

When the UFC starts getting 1 million plus on a routine basis ... expect those fighters that headline that card make more money just like McGregor did in such a short time.

Want to get paid more ... bring in more viewers and/or fight more often in a year.

It's pretty simple. Comparison to Mayweather, NFL, MLB are just dumb. Those three entities are all far more successful than UFC is and probably ever will be.
