I occasionally work as a baker and it was something I used to do full time. Not sure if its coincidence but I keep hearing how Romanians and Transylvanians have GOAT level beads and sweets. Curios to know if there is a specific technique or method they use that extends beyond the conventional ways?

Or is it the ingredients in conjunction with pride and care for making good breads?

EDIT:

Posting some pictures, Amandine is insanely is tasty and I realized that I have not had it for a long time!

From my research I've read it's only made by men and with each loaf they put their own 'special' ingredient in it.

It is tradition to seduce a bakery employee in order to steal their trade secrets.

@Slobodan was actually a baker growing up in Romania.
He used work from 4 am in the morning, before going to school.
Slobodan was a huge fan of Nicolae Ceaușescu and when he fell, slobodan fled the country with only what he could carry and a loaf of bread. That bread became the foundation to the subway bread.

I am Romanian.
I didn't know they were that good, compared with other countries.
I had no idea we have GOAT level sweets. Italy? Belgium? And many other countries?

Also, other neighbor countries have similar, if not the same stuff.
From what I've heard, this one take many hour to make, no idea why - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cozonac
