Rolling in the dark

I've never rolled in the dark before, but I do find myself closing my eyes a lot when I am rolling. Not sure why but it just feels natural.

You'd be surprised how often people compromise their posture (or positioning/defense) by trying to watch what they are doing. You shouldn't need eyesight for any grappling once contact is made.

I usually try to roll the majority of the time with my eyes closed.
