Rogan, Buffer, Ring girls etc...

I heard Buffer makes around 11-14 thousand years ago.
I have no idea if he has a new contract, or this was bullshit, or if he negotiated PPV points, or what happened with the Zuffa sale.

The dude is rich though, ran a telemarketing business before he was an announcer.
He always had a business mind and was able to do the dirty work himself.

I am guessing he makes a LOT more than we realize because his grind is harder than any of us can follow.

In the 90s, I heard that Michael Buffer made around 7-8k just to announce the main event for WCW Nitro.

I have always assumed Micheal made much more than Bruce, but there was an interview when Bruce mentioned something about taking over as his brothers manager and improving the money he made.

Now, I feel like Bruce is well surpassed Micheal in recognition and value.

He gets 100K per fight for announcing and has a net worth of about ten million! Pretty good for an announcer!

this isn't based on evidence. it's just two 30 something white dudes who guess people's networth. LOL

No and no. Michael Buffer and “Lets get ready” will never be surpassed by Bruce. Michael is mainstream and Bruce is MMA.

Honestly, I know very little of Micheal these days.
I knew of him way back but UFC is becoming a popular platform for Bruce.

Most of what I even know is just a mutual work friend, and watching him on the tv.

I figured by now it must be balanced.

He gets a $100k an event or fight ... something crazy now.

Michael still performs at least. I would imagine he has more than enough to retire.

On the note of ring announcers, I saw a video showing Jimmy Lennon Jr.'s dad as a boxing ring announcer. His son sounds almost exactly like him. I can't find that video. But you can hear him a bit here.

And he even was an announcer when Joey Diaz was the heavyweight champ.

No probably about it.

I can't stand Buffer, but he does earn his pay by doing those cringeworthy Motel 6 and MetroPCS spots before big championship fights. UFC maintaining that professional atmosphere. Although It's hilarious that he always needs to leave the cage and ask for help whenever a card doesn't have straight 10-9 scores.
Buffer is spectacular and is worth every penny

Here is his rebuttal on the money claimed Micheal and himself make...

Hello All on the Forum:

All I can say is "Don't believe everything you read, especially at CelebrityNetWorth.com"

As Michael's manager I will tell you I make sure he is handsomely paid for all he does but if he made $5 Million for every night he stepped into the ring, then he should be listed on the Forbes Billionaire list by now... As far as me, I am taken of very well by my beloved UFC but only my accountant and them know for sure.

See you from the Octagon on May 27th!

Cheers,

Bruce Buffer

I miss his corn nuts plug about being the official corned based snack of the ufc.

Rogan is making 6 figures an event. No way I think it's any less than that. It's all about business to them and to keep Joe on board with his JRE platform which the UFC can use for damage control and shilling no doubt that's been factored into it and he's getting well compensated.

I agree that UFC is a great platform for Bruce. But MMA isn’t nearly as big as us Sherbros think it is.

Michel Buffer does WWE stuff, major boxing events, TV shows, movies, video games.

Bruce does UFC.
