This was always the hardest thing to swallow about Rocky.

Stallone looked about 5'7 and 155lbs soaking wet. He is meant to be the KO artist HW champ.

Clubber Lang looked about 5'8 and ~185lbs. Stallone could eat flush shots from him no bother and keep coming.

Drago looked about 6'5 and 205lbs, like an olympic rower or something like that. Again, Stallone looked ridiculous sharing a ring with him.

The only one who looked like a boxer was Apollo Creed, and even then, not a HW.

Even as a 6 year old this annoyed me.

They actually mentioned this in Rocky III.

In this film, during the rematch, one of the announcers says, "wow...Rocky looks like a middleweight!"

Who the hell is Stallone?

I don't consider Balboa ATG, but I'm constantly fighting with myself about whether he's a top 10 HW of all time. Right now he's my #9 guy but sometimes I sit in bed for hours questioning that.
 
I just want to know why Foreman, Ali, Frazier & a few others, ducked Rocky?
Its like he didn't exist? Fucking Frazier vs Rocky would have sold out Eagles stadium, no doubt.

That is some Pride level record padding. I mean Floud(Fantom)Mkkallum was so punch drunk he could not even sign a coherent name on the contract.

We all know Rocky was a gimmick. He was a glorified exhibition who took it too seriously. Practically a sucker punch victory.

He also killed Creed by refusing to throw in the towel. He looked like a corpse getting smashed around by a sledgehammer yet Rocky just stood there practically delighted by it. The Rock wanted Creed gone. He knew it was only a matter of time before the sham ended and the true champ returned to take the belt.

In my heart of hearts I have always blamed Rocky for Creed's death. I am glad you had the courage to speak out.
