Rocky is a great movie, and to this day if I'm channel surfing and it's on, I'll watch it. But either Stallone knew nothing about boxing, or the studio made him make substantial changes. And the CGI robots in Real Steel demonstrated better technical boxing than Rocky and Apollo.

I'm not sure if he choeregraphed the fights but his expertise was consulted.

What no one is talking about is how great Big Yank Ball was back in his heyday. Easily would be the champ if it wasn't for Rocky.

It seems you are a fan of the overrated Manny Pacquiao, the King of Overratedness, so it seems you would have the best expertise of overratedness and all of its inquires.
 
Rocky and Creed had a 3rd fight. It was in the gym at the end of Rocky 3. Creed wanted the fight as payment for training Rocky. Creed was a real fighter.

Rocky Balboa ruined fighters. Creed, Lang, Drago, Tommy Gun...none of them were ever the same after Rocky beat them.
