Robocop: The cyborg Revenant

Revenant : a person who has returned, especially supposedly from the dead.

Of course I am a big fan of The Crow and it is the classic tale of a revenant. A man and his wife are attacked and killed, the man comes back from the dead, and he kills all the wrong doers.

Now, I am a huge Robocop fan since it came out. It wasn't until last night I thought "hey, this is actually a high tech revenant story."
Robocop is murdered, his family is taken away from him (they move on because he is dead), and through SCIENCE!!! He is brought back to life as a cyborg but has some memories left over
AND he gets his undead revenge by killing the wrong doers one by one.

Great way to freshen up a classic trope.
