Probably the two that aren't on your list...

Insomnia and One Hour Photo
I think it makes sense he didn't include them. These were widely acclaimed movies. I remember all kinds of buzz.

Insomnia = 7.2 on IMDb, 33/37 reviews positive on Metacritic, honorable mention Ebert's Top 10 for 2002, $113m Box Office
One Hour Photo = 6.8 on IMDb, Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominee, Williams got over a dozen acting award nominations

I mistakenly added The Survivors twice and asked 2 mods if they could edit my poll and I was ignored. If you could, could you change one of them to whichever movie you feel should be included?

Sure. One Hour Photo is getting more mentions, and it did get less acclaim as a movie, both from the critics, and on IMDb, even though I recall Williams received a lot more attention individually for his role in that, as they both came out in the same year, so I'll add it.

Not a huge fan of Williams but I really liked death to smoochy. Fisher King is the choice but like you said not on the list. I haven't seen Popeye in so long but have it on my rewatch list because Altman
Yeah not a huge Williams fan either. I haven't seen Smoochy in ages but definitely putting in the queue. I love Arthurian Legend so I might have bias with Fisher King but it's definitely a solid film either way. Not everyone is gonna like Popeye but still it's worth the watch just for being such an oddity.

Smoochy is a Devito film and I generally like his work. I'm also a Gilliam fan and it took me a while to get to Fisher King, but I really enjoyed it

Night Listener for me, it's a great little movie that is lifted higher than it should by Robin Williams. It's one of those movies where everyone plays their parts perfectly, good mystery as well, but Robin Williams is fantastic.

The Fisher King or Awakenings.

From that list though.. Worlds Greatest Dad.

These two are mine aswell. I always appreciate when a comedian plays a role out of their comfort zone, and does a good job. It just makes a movie that much better.

One Hour Photo is my favorite from the list but I don’t consider it underrated really. He got his due for that one

Death to Smoochy is it. That’s one of my favorite Robin Williams and Edward Norton movies. Insanely underrated.

Final Cut might’ve been his last really good performance before he started falling off.

There was something different about him in movies like World’s Greatest Dad and Angriest Man in Brooklyn.

He seemed like somebody trying to act like Robin Williams in those movies. Especially Angriest Man in Brooklyn. I remember watching it and feeling like he lost his fast ball and was really forcing it.

haven't seen it in probably 30 years, but i remember really liking the world according to garp. but it is basically a forgotten movie, so i voted for it. will have to give a re-watch.

also i actually hated him until i saw dead poets society and although loved, it is another not mentioned much. after that i appreciated his work

Death to Smoochy and The World According to Garp are easily the best movies on that list.

But the latter notches a 7.1 on IMDb, and it was critically acclaimed (even nominated for 2 Oscars). So I'm not sure I could call it the most underrated. Meanwhile, Smoochy gets a 6.3, and those bastards even had the audacity to nominate Williams for a Razzie. LOL, go fuck yourselves, losers.

So I guess it's an easy choice for Smoochy. One of the greatest comedies of the 21st century so far.
i think it was appreciated then, but is mostly forgotten. ask people to name 20 robin williams movies and i bet less than 5% will name Garp

Alot of you need to look up what underrated means. The Fisher King is not underrated .

Probably because it's kind of a boring movie. I couldn't stand it.

Yeah and I dont believe in reincarnation so it didnt really do anything for me. I do think some of the scenes looked really good with the paintings ect but the way they ended up dead was sort of silly.
