Only two legit ways you could be complaining that his opinion isn't original. Either..

1. You think he started the subject especially to assert his opinion. He didn't, he was just honestly asking a question answered

or

2. You think he should not mention important factors about the fight just because they aren't original. Which is obviously stupid.
