I get it why but I don’t like the necessity costume designers have to always keep the cape over the shoulder.
In the comics the reasoning to always keep the cape down is to make batmans body(and the armor)the least visible possible.

Oh no... not this tactical armor plated bullshit again. lemme guess, the Batmobile is gonna be some stupid looking super busy and angular monstrosity that looks more like a Tesla-mobile than an actual comic accurate Batmobile. Ugh.... I'll try to withhold judgement -- but if this is what they're going for then i'm out.
