We are going to find out about Kimura in earnest. This is an enormous leap in competition for a guy who has looked unstoppable. Japan is always crazy AF lol. Love it2 excellent fights. Rizin keeping it strong.
I wonder why they didn’t add Polo King to the GP. Are they actually going to build him along slowly?
The guy looked green as fuck his last fight … he should not be in a gpI wonder why they didn’t add Polo King to the GP. Are they actually going to build him along slowly?
Agreed, just surprised they didn’t with JMMA habit of throwing prospects into fights they’re not ready for yet.The guy looked green as fuck his last fight … he should not be in a gp
Bading has only had one fight, a decision win. Raiki is 16-15. While they generally do this kind of thing with Japanese talent they want to push, it smells of a young fighter that they know has potential, in Bading, who is 25 years old, and they wanna see what he is made of.So confused about this Chinese lad, who the fuck is this? Is this also the first Chinese fighter in Rizin?
That would be a big push to find some investment from China … road fc had that for a while, + fighters like Aorigele and some other fighters from the country … after China stopped the $ flow, road has not been the sameBading has only had one fight, a decision win. It really is curious. It could be a curveball being thrown, as they hired Craven to push the company into international markets and lure international talent, and we've all assumed they'd try to push into the usual places. Is it possible that maybe they're trying to push into China? It honestly would make a lot of sense, as it seems it would be much easier to make a name in the enormous Chinese market than the Western market, due to the massive time zone difference. Also not long after their card in South Korea.
As far as I know, this will be the first Chinese fighter in RIZIN.
I suppose that if RIZIN ventured down that same path, and the well ran dry, we'd be left with the RIZIN we'd been accustomed to for the past several years. I think Craven made a lot of valuable contacts on the world scene, during his time with NJPW. NJPW is still thriving on the world scene, a few years after Craven left, and just held their own event in Shanghai not long ago. It's going to be interesting over the next few years, and I presume we will be seeing more of these rando fighters popping up, as seeds are planted for down the road. That would be a big push to find some investment from China … road fc had that for a while, + fighters like Aorigele and some other fighters from the country … after China stopped the $ flow, road has not been the same
