Volkov vs. Vegh

-What we've witnessing right now,
Russian MMA Promotions are now rapidly rising.

Slowly and Surely filled with quality, compared to well known MMA Promotions with the like of:

Bellator which is clearly the #2 MMA Promotion second to UFC is delivering less quality fights lately, and their top fighters and champions are leaving(Minakov,Brooks and Newton)

Big Fish in a Small Pond Fighter's Promotion like KSW,WSOF and One Championship who can't provide any real competition to their Champions.

I'm pretty sure 2016 is a good year for the Russian MMA.

There is a lot of oligarch and mafia money in Russia and a lot of young talented fighters from the Wrestling, Judo, Boxing and Sambo circuits.

With the right investment, programs and fight clubs we are going to be seeing a major growth in Russian mixfight in the next 3-5 years.

M-1 isn't "rapidly rising" They're losing ground to orgs like Fight Nights and Absolut Combat Berkut.

Fedor said he approached Vadim with the proposal from the Russian sports minister and Sakakibara met with him. Vadim didn't want to work with either, so now the Russian government is funding a Fight Nights Event, in Vadims home town. And Vadim retaliated by putting the two best fights he could on an M-1 card the same day. Vadim made some remark about it "being his town" His event ended up being the day before the Fight Nights card.

Fight Nights is a good promotion but Fedor's still a free agent and they don't have a great roster when you take away Fedor and his team.

Bellator is picking up a lot of good fighters also, Minakov is still a Bellator fighter, and I don't think Newton is threatening to leave.
