RIP Vince

The man who bested Billionaire Ted in the cable TV wars, beat the U.S. Federal Government in court, and defeated God in a wrestling match may have finally taken an L. The end of Goldberg's and Undertaker's streaks have nothing on this.

Remember, he survived basically getting hung like Farmer Burns, cracking his neck on the edge of the ring and bouncing his head off the apron within half a second. This will be nothing.

Pussy has killed more strong men than bullets.

There is also the report that the woman was making 100k a year and her salary was bumped to 200k a year after she began seeing Vince. You can't be doing that shit in publicly traded companies, especially if they prove her position of being a paralegal didn't warrant that type of pay raise.

200k is like Supreme Court clerk pay for a law school graduate. Not paralegal pay.

WWE is going to be completely different with Vince gone.

Hopefully better, but those who say it can't get worse doesn't remember the last two years of WCW.
When Vince is finally out of the picture the company will be sold off to one of the big conglomerates.

Vince isn't as teflon as some in this thread think he is. Not saying that he's gonna be shown the door in the very near future, but nothing is for certain. He definitely could be forced out.

Would take a lot to get the major share owner and share voting tyrant out. Like a tv deal being pulled.

When Steve Austin was told to tone the vulgarity and middle fingers down, and other reasons in 2001/2002, that's when the PG-13 era ended and PG era began for many fans. It was a slow process for it to be actually made official with the ratings change in 2008.

He must not have listened because he was still doing it plenty in 01 and 02.

If the accusations Rita Chaterton (Female Referee) and Tom Cole (Ringboy) happened as they said they did, I wouldn't be too upset if Vince finally burned at the stake.

Shit, that's the same maneuver that knocked out Enzo

alleged 12million to 4 different women, and some stuff about him demoting then not renewing a contract on one that refused further advances after being "coerced" into giving him dome.

https://www.espn.com/wwe/story/_/id...m-4-women-quiet-sexual-misconduct-allegations

story just keeps getting better lol

I seriously wonder how this plays out. if it's true it's clear abuse of power and fiduciary responsibility (if it was company money), plus a host of other things....

but he supposedly has 80% of the board voting power, not sure how that works if they try to vote him out permanently.

Shit goes into sexual assault which is much worse than him meddling with shareholder money - which he could plea out of and maybe maybe survive as CEO. But not rape.

If Vince goes down for rape, he could retain control though the share price would tank and the threat to his personal fortune might get him to relinquish votes and control. He wouldn’t be able to be a good CEO effectively in prison but he could retain control and then move back to his office. I guess he could even keep the role formally or in practice. Asshole and Sherdogger Shkreli even tried to run his company by illegal phone from prison. Vince would probably sit in prison fuming until he came back to slaughter everybody.

If Vince goes down for embezzlement, then he will be barred from executive posts in the WWE and that could extend to de facto creative roles because he’s Vince and couldn’t handle being a Vince Russo instead of the boss.

Altho it’s getting mainstream press it’s getting a lot less attention than I would have thought it would get

He could officially resign and give up the title of head of creative or whatever but still run creative and anything else if he puts a puppet in his place which I could see him doing. He already appointed his daughter.

If Vince goes down for embezzlement and gets a ban on directorship then he's out unless he and Stephanie want to do time for trying to circumvent that ban. Could get the company delisted as well and all sorts of shit. Puppets don't work in these sort of circumstances and the SEC aren't stupid. Even head of creative would probably be treated as circumventing a ban. Right now, there's no ban in place, it's window dressing for Wall Street.

Vince might be batshit to try circumventing an actual ban but it won't work.

If say Vince pretends to step down after ban and is actually running shit - then there will be serious trouble because shit comes out.

WWE is a really strange company - Cornette described the IPO as a Ponzi scheme. Vince still owns the company and his voting block is ludicrous. If Vince remained as a janitor, he'd still be more important than Stephanie.
