Cody's biggest problem was his fight IQ, not skills. He has good boxing, speed, but makes terrible decisions, and doesn't really seem to improve at all, which also gets back to his IQ/team.

He gets too emotionally invested during fights, this will never change.

Well the talent is there but his chin is not reliable, as others already mentioned. If the guy had a good chin he could very well still be champ imo.
