I still have the Billy Robinson one on my old laptop for sure. And on Rugby, Ireland were just starting to rise with MMA and we actaully won stuff. Jordan was a ringmaster but Jack's Sunday Rewind intros were spellbinding. I fucking miss Rod and Scott and The Sunday School too.

I never listened to Sunday School... It was just one too many for me lol. With 2-3 hrs x 2 of like 3 shows already and possibly a preview & Beatdown After the Bell, it was just too much for me

Fair. I did know there were definite fans... Just not enough minutes in the week way back when. Before you could really easily have stuff just on in the background.

I also pretty much exclusively listened on podcasts because of the time difference. It was very rare that I got to fire up the Realplayer and listened to it live. Those 24 hr radiothons were special.

Apparently he was living in a shelter in Halifax before he passed away. This is after taking care of his dad before his dad passed away. No siblings, no parents and had ghosted all of his friends. How incredibly sad.

My dude… that join date. 2002. That makes you certified OG status. Straight G. Been here since the internet had dial-up and Sherdog was still wild. And hell yeah, I’d kill to hear some of those old shows again. My go-to was The Savage Dog Show—Jeff and Greg.

Man…. That was like one of the first Sherdog people. I started getting on here in like 07 and he was the guy then. He did a lot of the meat and potatoes. The name was very familiar. Damn. RIP man!!! Life’s short guys. Tell those you care about that you love them more often.

Those old roundtables, beatdowns and jordan breen show, really got me more into mma. Started watching, and always listened to them, and I became obsessed.
Jordan Breen was always my favourite. So much learnt from him. And as Luke thomas mentioned, that breed of mma media, doesn't exist anymore, and thats sad. Now we have all this crap like Nina Drama etc, where no one even really care's about the sport. Unfortunately that's what happens when a sport becomes mainstream.

Like said above, it makes you realise, how much mma has lost its magic. Those golden years were incredible, and today is not even a patch. I find myself focusing more on other interests now a days.

In another life, Jordan Breen should have been a big name in mma media, even today, but his problems, and situational circumstances post sherdog radio, must have messed it up.

A true legend, and no one comes close in mma media.

Crazy. Young man. I did read his articles 2 decades ago or so. And tweeted him once. Rest in peace. Didn't hear bout him in forever. How does he die so young. Drugs ? Man all the best to his family, may his spirit live on .
