Very sad.
John Redcorn is one of my favorite characters.

Why’d you say that genius?
Why’d you say that genius?
why would you say unsubstantiated things like that without proof?
He was the victim of a hate crime. His husband just posted this online
here is the news article as well https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...d-in-texas-shooting/articleshow/121580363.cms![]()
he was there its first hand knowledge the cops were called 74 times over 2 yrs and their home burned down? their dead dogs body in effigy? alot of questions there https://www.newsweek.com/jonathan-joss-husband-says-fatal-shooting-was-homophobic-attack-2080115I mean, this is unsubstantiated too....
Joss' husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, said they were checking the mail at their former Texas home - which had been targeted in a previous arson attack - when they were approached by a man who "started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us."
"He then raised a gun from his lap and fired,
"Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired, Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life."
Gonzales said in his post that he and his husband had been "harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship," and that much of this harassment was "openly homophobic."
Ceja has been charged with first-degree felony murder, and his bond was set at $200,000.

oh theres no doubt that Jonathan was a weird eccentric dude and im sure many of the arguments were definitely 2 sided.. it just seems really suspect that their home was burned down and the skull of his dog and leash were hung on the mailbox (according to his surviving spouse) .. I would be pretty upset too.Neighborly disputes are always tough to figure out because they usually start over something fairly minor but then escalate over years and years until both sides are acting like absolute lunatics.
I have seen too many of them to believe either side is 100% just innocent victims. It never happens like that.
It was just an observation
“Don’t let your mouth write a check your butt can’t cash!”

He was Native though,People burn their own houses down all the time. It's a very common insurance scam.
He was Native though,
We can’t afford do those white peoples crimes.. especially when in the middle of a well documented heated and aggressive relationship with athe neighbors..
Well all of his neighbors hated him not just the guy who shot him because he was a nut and and had issues with addiction and was always starting things with people. The cops were always getting called to the area because of neighbors reporting him. His husband is also a biological woman who is half his age and likely never had a sex change operation. So the whole gay angle is a little weird and creepy. The woman he was with for many years before also says he was a very troubled and sometimes abusive emotionally and wasn't really surprised with how things turned outwhy would you say unsubstantiated things like that without proof?

San Antonio police walk back statement dismissing possible hate crime in Jonathan Joss' shooting death
"Shouldn’t have done it. [It] was way too soon before we had real information, and I will own that," McManus said. “It was way too early in the process for any statement of that nature to be issued.”
Police now say they are investigating shooting of actor Jonathan Joss as possible hate crime
https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2025/jun/06/jonathan-joss-killing-investigation-hate-crimeInvestigators are looking into whether the sexual orientation of King of the Hill voice actor Jonathan Joss played a role in his shooting death in Texas, authorities said on Thursday, walking back a previous statement about the potential motive.
