Sad.
I used to confuse him with the late Josh Samman

Can't help but wonder whether he knew he had cancer back then yet fought anyway, or it just came on afterwards with intense rapidity.
He had to of had symptoms if he was stage 4 just a few months later and terminal.. if he knew fought and won then his nickname definitely suited himCan't help but wonder whether he knew he had cancer back then yet fought anyway, or it just came on afterwards with intense rapidity.
He was complaining about some pain in October last year, and that's when he started testing. Sounds like he didn't know he had it leading into his last fight. He had to of had symptoms if he was stage 4 just a few months later and terminal.. if he knew fought and won then his nickname definitely suited him
So according to Bisping, Theodorou only found out in May.

I found this on another MMA fighter. Also died of colon cancer around the same age. Could just be coincidence but maybe these supplements that the fighters take have some bad side effects? They don't tend to be regulated.

The fact is that if you don't want die of cancer, you have to die of something else.I hate this disease so much. I know billions go to cancer research, but it's simply not enough. For all the advances in medicine, from a layman perspective that lost a few loved ones to cancer, it feels we're still in the Middle Ages when it comes to it
Taking some shit when you’re that young isn’t gonna immediately give you cancer… not hating on you at all because it’s interesting to hear what someone who knows him is saying, but it’s fucked up people will start spreading stuff like that based on nothing but a random assumption. So I finally ran into my buddy at work who knows Elias. He told me he had colon cancer which he was getting treated but it spread to his liver. He said he was trying to get back to the ufc and may have been taking some questionable supplements (just an assumption not fact) which caused his sudden illness…
The wake is today. He was taking off work early to attend.. sad news. My prayers are with his family. Must be devastating..![]()

I was just thinking about some of these diet fads that some fighters and jiujitsu people go on. Eating too much red meat can increase the risk of colon cancer. I know that one is a popular fad amongst the Jordan Peterson fans.
