Sad news, he always seemed like a great coach and a nice guy whenever heard him speak. Coached quite a number of good to great fighters over the years and a cornerstone of the MMA community, always been well respected.

RIP Duke and thanks for your contributions to MMA, a lot of years out into this sport.

Like @BFoe I'm a Wisco guy, and Duke is (pun intended) MMA royalty here. Back when I was involved in the grappling and MMA world, I didn't personally know the Roufusport guys but would come across guys who trained there (along with guys from Red Schafer's gym and Pura Vida) at tournaments and events. People (rightfully) looked at Duke as a living legend. My coach respected him so much that when he had this Thai boxer staying with him for a few months he drove him to Milwaukee multiple times to do training sessions at Roufusport. RIP Duke.
