I just can't stop thinking about Walt's family.

I can't imagine waking up each day and realizing the nightmare is reality. I know the more time passes the easier it will be but it will never be easy.

I'm going to refrain from continuing to post and bringing it up but if Walt or his family reads this, y'all are not suffering alone. I'm not sure what if anything I can do to help protect young girls from this type of violence from ever happening again but I am paying more attention to things today then I ever have in the past.

I drive Uber/Lyft part time on the side to pay down student loans faster. I try to make sure every girl that I pick up feels safe and gets into their home/destination safely. Some ask to be dropped off a block away (which I get with the reputation rideshare drivers have) and I respect that too. I just hope I'm helping a little.

I don't just look at it as a buck now. I feel a sense of duty/responsibility.

We need a balance for the evil in this world until we can root it out.
 
I was following this but I have teenage daughters and I probably don't want to read through the whole thread. The part that bothers me the most is this scumbag had people he could call on in just such an occasion? To help him kidnap and kill a college student? For what? A CRV and whatever they could have her pull from an ATM? I assume they raped her? I believe I read that, that he called on others after he grabbed her, which means he should already be dead and they should already be dead. Enough with this due process on clearly guilty motherfuckers you can just kill. 0% chance any of them will ever do anything beneficial to society, aside from being removed from it.

What is that call like, anyway? How do you have people you can call that are game for that? Jesus.

Also, could he be dumber? "You ain't got no video"? The violence and stupidity calls for a swift end. I hope he finds it.

Fucking scumbags. Unfortunately this will take it's legal course and family will have to be patient on justice. I hope - well -I wont say, have 2 little bits myself ( much younger ).

Brutal executions for murderers. Gang members won't think "oh well if I go to prison I'm gonna be with my boys". Convict them and erase them from this world, painfully.

Spot on. Was just talking to someone the other day about this. Seems like these criminals who do years in prison seem to enjoy it after so much time. It just becomes normal to them.

He's in protective custody, I'm guessing.
If not, then I'm sure he hand-washes underwear (he would hand-wash mine) and is sold for cigarettes on the regular (I would sell him). Good for him. His time should be fun and productive like that.
 
My buddy was over watching the PPV on Saturday, and when they flashed Aniah’s picture, he had no idea who she was, and I actually teared up telling him the story. This is so terrible, and so senseless, it’s not about a fight obviously, but this happening to a UFC fighter’s family member.. shit like this literally hasn’t happened since Vitor like 20 years ago (not that it should ever happen obviously). Glad they found scum associated with this heinous act, but nothing will ever replace Aniah or make this right, and that actually breaks my heart.

RIP Aniah, thoughts and prayers to Walt and the entire family.
 
Does anyone think walt harris will fight in 2020 or perhaps retire?


Weve seen vitor belfort stay true after his sister disappeared. Also seen Cat Zingano persevere after her husband passed. Maybe they can reach out to him after sometime give me guidance on what steps to take after such a life changing event
 
Very sad news to learn shes been murdered. Just read about it today hence my late reply.

I dont think it really appropiate to start a gun control discussion here. Its most likely not even relevant in this particular case..
 
Why has this thread turned into a gun control and abortion debate? Can everyone please respect the dead and find somewhere else to debate?

I like a heated debate as much as the next guy, but you guys should really take this elsewhere. This is getting brutal.
