First I've heard of this. Best wishes to the young girl and her family. I can't even imagine what her parents are going through right now, and I'm very glad of that.

Sadly, the longer the poor girl is missing, the less chance of her being found alive. I really, really hope I'm wrong, though.

AUBURN, Ala. (WBRC) - Texas Equusearch mounted search and recovery has been hired to join the search for 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard.


The volunteer based search and recovery company has been involved with other high-profile missing person cases and specializes in horse mounted recovery efforts.


Aniah was last seen on October 23 in Auburn, Al. Her car was found damaged two days later in Montgomery. Auburn police say evidence was found in her suv showing she was harmed and foul play was involved.


As the search for continues, the reward money for credible information is now over 100 thousand dollars.

they found a friend of mine who drowned kayaking in buffalo bayou after a week of not being found.

hopefully they find this girl alive.

i'm not a specialist but we are in 21st century where everybody has smartphone which tracks your position 24/7. Can't they just freaking ask for data from google or something to track day of disappearance, last & current position etc? Also most of messaging aps are keeping backup of all your content: can't they recover all of it? This lack of update is really frustrating...

Apparently they had checked the "pings" on her phone but then her phone went dark.

I'm wondering if they can subpoena the dating app for records. Maybe if they can find out who she was talking to and find out his location. Even of the guy used a fake profile they should still be able to track down who he is through his phone/tablet etc.

The investigators are all over it...everything anyone here can think of is being done .....That doesn’t mean we will have a happy result, but they should be able to piece together what happened and hold someone accountable..

Every day that passes with no news is heartbreaking. I try to avoid this thread because it's really depressing, but whenever I click it and there's no news it's a gut punch. Can't help but bleed for Walt right now.
