^Actually biological anthropology was where I focused most of my interest, despite the degree being a general "anthropology" degree. So why exactly should I be surprised about cranial capacity and iq? It sure didn't bother me when I took bio anthro, nor when I took forensic anthro. There are much more effective ways to corral the police than rioting against them anyway, though I'd much rather them have surrounded the station in protest than loot and burn stores owned by local people who had nothing at all to do with it. :icon_evil

Didn't read the rest of the thread, eh? I also said this, in case you have a comment on my point.

I said "When protesting turns to rioting I suggest looting the government buildings, starting with the local cop-shops.". The part about attacking police stations is humor designed to augment the underlying subtext, which is that when you're pissed at the government it makes more sense to go after their shit than private property. That's if you want to somehow make a legitimate connection between the protest and the looting.

North St Louis has been a shit hole for along time. Good place to drop a bomb. If youre ever in STL, dont drive thru there. Stay on the west or south end of the city, They are some of the nicest neighborhoods in the country. North and East, are some of the worst.

Yea there's a lot of idiots out there. Anyone who's doing this rioting and looting is an idiot and deserves anything bad that's coming to them. I don't know about judging the culture or what the culture even is that he's trying to say.....ghetto trashy people aren't really known as a rich culture in any society, anywhere in the world. I'm not a big 'paint-with-a-broad-brush' guy but when I hear the rallying cry, No Justice, No Peace I associate that with one type of neighborhood. That came directly from the mouth of the elected official (Maxine Waters) who was inciting her constituents. They were more than happy to follow suit and have ever since.

They're not looking for justice...they are looking for the justice they want. I don't know all the facts here (sounds like no one does so far) but I look at this like I do the driver that was run over and killed. The guy went out onto the racetrack and was run over. If he had minded his own business and stayed in his car he would be alive.

It's said before in this thread, but I can't think of single time in my life when a cop has been found guilty for a wrongful shooting. So it seems it's the police departments who are getting the justice they want time after time, which happens to be having tax payers pick up the civil suit bill. Does that look like real justice to you?
