Now things are changing in many ways and places, but traditionally an orthodox married woman was expected to cover her head and watch her mouth in the presence of a man.
The religions are similar at the core, but we're very far from that here.
From a deeply religious perspective it's just as unacceptable a woman that exposes her body as it's us posting idle talk and gossip on a forum or Khabib being involved in an organization with alcohol advertised on the canvas, girls fighting in their underwear, major gambling involved, drugs, shit talk etc.
There is understanding inside our religions or if we let go and accept where we are and take things more lightly, awkwardness comes from pretending we're something that we are not and holding the others to some empty standards.
