right-wing parties, eurosceptics win big at EU elections

So a Far Right party wins big in France less than two weeks before the 70th anniversary of D Day.

What's the French word for, "Irony"?

I'm interested in how well UKIP do.

They look on course to have the most/second most MEP's elected.

I often view local/euro elections as times when voters often cast protest votes and in the uk turnouts are often low. Proportional representation helps fringe parties aswell.

I don't know if this is the case in other European countries but it will be interesting to see how ruling parties react to this.

right > left

but in the end of the day its all bs

Germany's about to get it's first Nazi MP since the good old days.

FN won almost anywhere in france

EU is about to get fucked.

EU skepticism and nationalism rising.
Denmark's right wing party took 26,4% of the votes. Which is 8% higher than the party that came in second.
They used come in around ~10% at national elections.

Well, how do you convince people to buy into left wing socialism when it leads to tremendous dilution of the resources of a nation?

I don't think the globalists will stand for states trying to get out of the EU. It was decades in the making and is a big part of their long term plans.

Will be interesting to see them try though. I sure would if I was over there.

Question for Europeans.. Are they teaching pro EU propaganda in schools? That could be in the form of changing history lessons or encouraging a European identity. I'd be curious what the younger generations think about it.

The biggest winner in the danish election , the main candidate from our right wing party Morten Messerschmidt (he just beat the record in Denmark for
most personal votes ever at 450k), had this to say:

"It's sad that parties like "Le Pens Front National" and Golden Dawn are coming out ahead. But the reason they do that is because the established parties are failing the europeans. There is no alternative if you want the EU to head in another direction"

I think he's right. A lot of european countries seems to tangle between extremes.

Edit: Holy shit.. They landed at 35,5% votes... That's absolutely insane. They were at 14% at the last EU parliament election. 10% at the national election.

What ? The EU isn't lead by socialists and doesn't have left-wing policies.

It has left wing policies, and it's some of their left wing policies that makes people run away.

the Schengen agreement and welfare checks leaving the country, are the two biggest issues that the right wing parties have been able to gain votes on.

flamish nationalists become strongest party in belgium with 18%

Oh well, I guess it was a nice 69 year period. At least I am white...

schengen agreement is pretty capitalist in essence

youre right about welfare going to non-national citizens

UKIP with 12 Mep's and 29% of the vote up 12%. BNP the most far right party have lost their only MEP and down 5% share of the vote.

The lib dems a pro european party whose leader took on UKIP's Farage in a debate saw their voter share halved and lost all their MEP's.

33% turnout.

Edit- so far
