Rice or Potatoes - Which do you prefer?

Rice just because it’s easier (buy microwaveable packets for when I can’t be bothered to boil it up)

Probably prefer potatoes but just don’t eat them as much for above reason

I would probably by nature choose potatoes, but I grew up on rice as a staple and the bulk of every dinner, then married a woman who placed the same emphasis on rice.

Also, rice is a broad category. Some wild rice with himalayan red when you're grilling salmon or rainbow trout... It's like a little piece of heaven.

I suppose this is the sound of boredom.

If I had to choose the potato has more versatility. i like a yukon potato and the purple potato those are underrated.
