I took the position that someone isn’t “anti-vax” if they don’t wish to vaccinate their 1 day old infant against Hep-B if the mother isn’t a carrier.
Posters argued against that position. Some took the position that it’s possible that the sterilized equipment in the hospital could be infected with Hep-B or that Hep-B can cause liver disease.
I didn’t argue against Hep-B as a general vaccine for those who want it, but that a family that decides that their 1 day old infant shouldn’t get it does not make them “anti-vaccination”.
Rand Paul brought up the same point in the hearing.
