Anyone else actually think he looked best in the Diaz fight? Obviously he obliterated Aldo in 13 seconds but it was so fast we didnt really get to see much. And he obliterated lower tier fighters that arent that great. Against Nate Diaz (the best boxer he has fought) I thought he actually looked really sharp and fast, at least in the first round. In the Mendes fight he was getting hit a lot by huge punches and looked kind of sluggish.

If that was his best (vs. Nate) then he has no business fighting RDA...Full camp Nate got dominated by RDA....

It's amazing what can happen when one doesn't go from 145 to 168 in 24 hours.

He did look good, but he also tied himself out looking good. Then Diaz also adjusted.

TS is right. That was the absolute best Conor weve seen and he still got destroyed easily by Nate. He wasnt sucked dry by a weight cut and wasnt injured like in the Mendes fight. That was simply Conors best.

I thought he looked the best in the Mendes fight. He was doing great on the feet, survived on his back against a really good wrestler, avoided serious ground pound and persevered through to get the stoppage.

I get what TS is saying. He cuts too much weight. He's in a Catch-22 though. His power doesn't put people away at his natural weight.

In retrospect, his Holloway fight is one of his most impressive wins. He was able to take Holloway down and control him on the ground.

He looked good in the fight but his punches were not hurting Nate like they did to 145 guys. His best performance was Porier though

So he looked his best in the fight where he got hurt and strangled ?

He looked great early on against Holloway imo. Probably his best overall performance, striking, wrestling and BJJ were all on point in that fight despite the injury.

Obviously not including the last minutes of the fight. But the first round and first minute or so of the second round he looked the best in his career imo.

He looked good for one round, against a fat, out of fighting shape Nate Diaz (gate keeper). Let it sink in

Meh. Chad was hitting him with bombs on his feet and if he'd stuck to elbows on the ground, instead of the choke, McGregor may have ended up like Weidman.
