Movies Rewatched Back to the Future Part II, it's more clear to me why this film is inferior to the first.

Don't get me wrong it's a decent movie, but it doesn't even come close to the quality of the first one.

Too much cheesy / corny scenes. They try to over do it with the scenes.

And it turned out unrealistic to me at times.

Just didn't buy it.

Especially the chasing scene in the end with the hoverboard, just too ridiculous for me.

I give about a 7/10.

I thoroughly enjoy the second one. Yes, it’s FAR more over the top but it’s still a lot of fun. That scene where Marty meets up with Doc again after finding out that George is dead and Biff married Lorraine has always been a personal favorite of mine among scenes in the trilogy. Sets the stakes for the latter half of the film and Lloyd and Fox are really good at selling the gravity of the situation. Almost has a Twilight Zone type feel to it.

Back to the Future is an all-time great film to me. II is not that level but I’d call it a really strong sequel.

Back To The Future is my all time favorite trilogy, it is such an amazing sci fi adventure from beginning to end

Part 1 is obviously a 7 Thumbs Up perfect film, one of the best movies ever made, not one single flaw or blemish

Part 2 is a lot more wacky and not as strong as the first one but it has all that great early CGI and awesome glimpses into what we thought the world was gonna be like all the way deep into the future, the year 2000 and beyond, which is very fun to enjoy for the visuals and world building

Part 3 was my least favorite when I was younger because I wanted more future sci fi tech stuff but now I appreciate it much more, its a better film than part 2 and a pretty fun little Western


All in all, such a great trilogy, saw them all in theaters when I was young, would love to take the whole journey on the big screen again if the opportunity ever presents itself

I like all 3. I guess if I'm forced to pick one as the best then it's the first one, but I liked 2 and 3 as well.

The worst part of 2 is how they did Crispin Glover.

Love the whole trilogy. First one is the best, but the other two aren't far behind for me.
