Resident Evil 3 Remake

I will say the lip syncing is off when they talk out of cutscenes, and there's some animations that look a little off. Towards the end of the game in the lab there's a part where Jill gets attacked by Nemesis' tentacle and she's hacking it off, and it just didn't look right to me.
Haven't seen that but I have seen single zombies on screen glitch and phase in and out. I'm on PS4 Pro too.

Put in some more time yesterday. Really liked how the Drain Deimos were implemented. Gamma’s were pretty awesome too. I can see why people are enjoying this so much. Had a real Nemmy encounter and fight and damn that was intense. Really feels like an action movie. I need to work on my ammo consumption. Avoiding zombies like nothing with the dodges but larger threats I feel I have to deal with.

Drain Deimos can go fuck themselves. I'm not even afraid of bugs or anything but those things make me cringe so badly. I hate them.

They’re pretty disgusting lol. The deep throat on Jill was unexpected. I like how she cures it though.

Man I can only imagine the pervs after that deep throat.

When you're only a few casual hours into the game and it tells you to discard the lock pick.

$60 DLC

4/10 and that even feels slightly generous. The only thing this game has going for it was built in the same engine as RE2make. It would have been passable as $30 DLC but as a $60 game it's terrible. Easily beat in under 5 hours in my first try and I didn't feel like I was rushing at all. If you want a short, cheesy as fuck action game set in the RE universe than by all means. Otherwise save your money. I'll be trading my copy back to Amazon to try and recoup some cash.

I only played RE3 back in middle school on N64 once, and even I remember, seeing my cousin play this crap, lots of areas I'm not seeing in this.

Can’t wait to read your latest bitch fest when the game is released!

DLC seems generous for how much they cut out from this game. The original was already short but they had the nerve to cut even more content. Should’ve just started with the superior resident evil 4 for the remake treatment, this was DLC.

GManLives gave it a poor review also. Said it's much weaker than the RE2 remake, very short, and missing a bunch of content from the original RE3, doesn't even have Mercenaries. Said the puzzles were easy and the fights with Nemesis happen at predetermined points instead of him stalking like Mr. X did in the RE2 remake, said it's a step backward. I think he said it either wasn't made by Capcom or not made by the same team that did RE2.

Hard pass for me

Just finished it. I'll go 8/10 with RE2 being 9/10.

It's short but sweet. I never played RE2 or RE3 on the PlayStation so both were new experiences for me. RE2 just felt more like classic RE and had plenty of scary moments and was about twice as long thanks to having 2 characters to play. I thought the story and atmosphere was just a bit better. RE3 felt more like DLC but I think what hurt it more is coming out so quickly after RE2 and using the same engine. It just feels like the same game or an epilogue.

Still, I had a great time with it and really like Jill, the character model and the acting. The gameplay was fun. The story was pretty minimal but you kept wanting to see what was going to happen next. It's more action oriented with way more ammo and very few puzzles. You still have plenty of intense moments though and the atmosphere and scenery is still fantastic.

If you like RE2, you'll like RE3. Hopefully they remake RE4.

One more thing to note is that it looked and ran great on PC just like RE2. I snapped this in-game and just marvel sometimes how far we have come with video games.

And mf had the nerve to shit talk The Order 1886 for being 6 hours long.

Game is really hitting its stride. Wrapped up the hospital and goddamn it’s been a rollercoaster. I love the set pieces, I love the encounters, I really like the change of pace between Carlos and Jill.

I’m sure the game is going to wrap up soon but I’ve enjoyed the ride.

For people complaining about the length, I got almost 9 hours out of it. That's the same as a full play through of RE2. Only do you get a 19/20 hour game if you play it twice with both characters.

For these people finishing it in 5-6 hours, they must just run through, don't look at anything, skip items, enemies, etc. What fun is that?

It's a huge step backwards. I'm honestly still sort of shocked at how bad it was. I guess in the end I'm almost glad that it was only about half the length of 2 because I found most of the game painfully bad. I really am just shaking my head at how small this game is now that I am thinking back on it. The actual city area is tiny. If you played the demo you saw a lot of it.

It's basically a collection of action pieces with a few small areas to explore.
