Movies Reservoir Dogs has a terrible ending

Just like, thinking its cool to have so many f-bombs per sentence. That kind of stuff doesn't hold up well IMO. Tarantino's like a virgin rant... it's very out dated. I cringe when I go back and listen to this dialogue and remember thinking how cool and edgy it was. It's what would be called edgelord nowadays.

An edgelord is someone on an internet forum who deliberately talks about controversial, offensive, taboo, or nihilistic subjects in order to shock other users in an effort to appear cool, or edgy.

One of his worst films. Has the same appeal as Pulp but Pulp was at least unique

White was emotionally invested in Orange not being a rat, given what they had just been through. It would make much less sense for White to, all of the sudden, change course to appease his boss, while Orange is bleeding out in front of him.

The ending might have been forced, but it was still logically consistent with the rest of the story IMO.

Mr White is a long time friend of Joe yet for some reason takes the side of Mr Orange to the point he would kill Joe for him?

Mr White thinks there is a rat, Joe and his son both say it's Mr Orange, Mr White finds that impossible so he is ready to kill his friend and his son over it? LoL

This film is overrated imo not even a top 5 Tarantino film imo

Also didn't Tim roth save keitel in the movie when he got himself shot? I think that's why keitel stuck up for him in the end

RD is my favorite Tarantino film, and one of my favorite movies in general. It has that special intangible something a movie needs to have to reach that next level. For me anyway.

Your whole shtick on this forum is that of an edgelord

I feel like Tarantino films >>> Internet words like Edgelord though lol.

To view an almost 30 year old film through the lense of a Cuck/Soyboy/Edgelord etc world is more cringe than anything.
All that toxic masculinity <Dany07>

The only criticism I have of reservoir is that it kinda copied city on fire but I still like reservoir as a movie better overall

Also the ending was terrible, Joe has the gun pointed at Orange, White has the gun pointed at Joe, Eddie has the gun pointed at White, yet only Joe & Eddie die from the shots.

Terrible

Great movie. The ending has always caused alot of debate. In fact I first heard of the movie listening to a late night radio talk show host arguing about it with a caller. I had to find this movie that they were so passionately debating about. If you saw this movie in the 90s I doubt you viewed it as edglord. It was edgy and gritty and harsh but that was done on purpose and was effective.
The way I see Tarentino is that his greatness isnt so much that he is creating anything.new. its that he takes an established genre and puts enough of his own style on it that it is incredibly interesting . For good or bad its his style that is often the most important part. It's like Andy Warhol painting pictures of mundane objects like soup cans , but wow those soup cans.
It's been awhile since I've seen it but I never found that the questions I had about the plot or characters motivations were enough to take away from what the movie delivered. Although it might seem unlikely that events would play out this way it is within the realm of possibility and it's a movie so we have to accept it.

White felt responsible for Orange and hated Blonde (who's actions he blamed on Joe). White was also about to shoot Pink over it. Seems pretty consistent to me.

I think that's a big point.....the fact that White was PISSED at Joe for bringing Blonde into the group. Blonde started the whole chain of events b/c he started the shooting. White couldn't believe Joe would bring a psychopath into their team when the team was supposed to be professional.
