Unless we have context the numbers can mean anything you want them to mean. I can say STD percentages are at an all time low if I find the right test group, sample size, or context.

Though I'm guessing per capita STDs probably are up. It's WAY easier to hook up with multiple partners now with apps, phones, and fast transportation. Society seems to be more accepting of multiple partners, hook ups, friends with benefits, orgies, etc. I'm sure they always existed but it's more accepted and if you knock it you'll end of getting mocked for being closed minded or not being "woke".

I also remember going to the doctor when I was 21 or so, I had received the clap from a dirty dirty whore. The doctor asked me how many sexual partners I've had, I told him and he said there was like a 90% chance I had genital warts. He told me you can't test for them, and they'll most likely never show up, but I could very well have them. He went on this long rant about my generation having unprotected sex, and how we all have genital warts but we just don't know it. I was freaked out for a good 3 months.
