What i wonder is how powerful that kinahan gang really is. Because a cartel involves real mafia activity, police/military infiltration, politicians on the payroll and being armed to the point that law enforcement are reluctant to engage.

These kinahan just sound like a dozen thugs who import drugs and kill people. I e a street gang.
 
When that news about the bounty on his head came out conor paid them off. That's what I heard from the Irish anyway.

He strikes me as the type who loves being viewed as a gangster and he can fight, loves standing over people but he's not about the lifestyle. He won't go to jail, he'd grass. If you put him in the boot he'd start sniffling, if you tortured him for info he'd fold in a heartbeat.
