Outcome will not change the fact Jones openly refused to fight Aspinall when the entire community was calling for it. But should Aspinall lose or even struggle you can rest assured, some will inevitably take it as confirmation Jones would have won. I've heard nothing about this fight/card and it's Thursday...I also live in Vegas. I get that this card is overseas, but I've heard no buzz or anything. Literally no excitement. This is proving Jones point if I'm being honest.

The HW title being on the line used to be the top tier moment of the UFC. That card/fight was gas. This isn't moving the needle.

If Gane beats Aspinall or gets to a draw, it indisputably means that Jones is much better than Aspinall, because mmath.

However, if Aspinall beats Gane, it doesn't mean anything about Jones because Gane doesn't know that wrestling or submissions are allowed in MMA.
