Three days ago was the "late" Evan Tanner's birthday. He was an MMA fighter who fought in numerous organizations including the UFC and Pancrase. He was known for his steely grit and incredulous detremination. He was also a former UFC Middleweight Champion by defeating a young (up and comer) David Terrell. Evan had truly memorable fights, including his two victories against Phil Baroni where he looked as if he would get KO'd both times. He holds notable victories over Robbie Lawler, Travis Fulton, Heath Herring, Paul Buentello, Ikushiwa Minowa. He will always be known as a very game and tough fighter, and one who never refused a fighter under any circumstance. Unfortunately Evan Tanner was found dead in the desert (Clapp Springs) near Palo Verde, California as he trekked the desert alone and had not enough water. The year was 2008.
So here, i will lay tribute to one of the toughest men to ever enter the Octogon.
