Big DC fan and obviously he is no coward, but did anybody find it weird when a while back, he said something to the effect that he saw Arlovski walk by backstage and it made him not want to fight at heavyweight anymore because of how big AA was? He had already defeated Bigfoot and Barnett who are comparably sized if not bigger than Arlovski (and have beaten him) too. Is ArLOVEski just a really imposing sight in person, maybe one of the most intimidating HWs?

Are you talking about UFC 188 when he said that to Arlovski in the backstage? DC was clearly goofing around. Also at that point he was thinking about settling in LHW & UFC wasn't so high up about super fight so everybody thought that the potential of DC fighting in heavyweight again at that point was nearly zero.

Arlovski had the worst pro MMA debut out of all fighters in all weight classes ever.

That was a sure sign that even though he looked like it, he was never going to be the best.
