I'm continully devastated watching this team play basketball. The continual injuries of practically the entire team plus the shannigans of the front office is unlike anything I've ever seen watching basketball for decades.

Nico being the biggest idiot was surprising and not surprising at the same time going over his history. He got rid of Luka because he trusted Kyrie and AD instead. Not even two months later it’s already disastrous. I’m preparing for a decade of being in the cellar of the west.

Honestly, I'm having a hard time processing this season. I've never seen anything like it. This was a young talented team with a superstar that just went to the Finals, to being crashed into the gutter, not just this seaosn but maybe for many years to come.

It’s mind boggling from how good they have been recently. One move destroyed a franchise overnight, it really is insane.

I’m 50/50 on that. Nico clearly got rid of Luka because he would rather have Kyrie (and probably overpay for him) but Kyrie holds the cards. Wouldn’t be surprised if he stayed or if he went to the Lakers or something. But if this is a major injury then I have no clue what happens.

Just a year ago, from late 2023 to summer of 2024, sports was looking really good in the DFW area. The Rangers just won the world series. The Mavs were in the finals and had made some good additions in the off season. The Stars were in the WCF, and have a great core of young talents and savvy veterans. The cowboys were just being their usual entertaining shit show.

Now just 9 months later, the Mavs are in absolute shambles and betrayed the entire fanbase. The Mavs are one of the least offensive and controversial teams, yet we are dealt with this shit. The city needs to sacrifice a chicken or some voodoo cleansing to get rid of the curse.
