I just saw for the first time the video where he actually claimed to have spies on Frankie's camp.
I speak Portuguese and I can assure you he was not trolling. It's not mental games like some people said. He was smiling while he said but he was being completely straightforward about it. Upon being asked how that came about he immediately went on to explain how almost every single time he's fighting there's a Brazilian in the other guy's corner or team and how he always seeks them out and asks them information.

Also, despite my McGregor avatar, this is not a Aldo hate thread. I love Aldo and he's one of my favorite fighters.
 
so are we gonna get to the bottom of this or not?

ok so from 3:40 or something forward, and he is laughing. I can't assure he is trolling or not and I'm brazilian so I understand 100% of what he is saying. I'm sure you can't either.
 
I'm brazilian as well and he says that in a strange way, but yeah he doesn't look like he is joking either.
 
Even if he had "spies" it was inconsequential. Aldo is just a stylistic nightmare for Edgar. Edgar had absolutely nothing for Aldo, "spies" or not.

And I am an Edgar fan.

To be honest, it shows some lack of integrity on the part of the "spies", less so on Aldo

I don't like the spies stuff. It would be worse if he actually SENT a spy, whereas here he simply talked to some of Frankie's sparring partners or fellow gym rats.
 
If you are one who truly believed Aldo planted spies in Edgar's camp?

You should be ashamed of yourself for not having a basic amount of common sense.
 
Based on his mannerisms and eye movement I think he's not trolling either.

I think it was said, he copped a lot of flack for it, and he backtracked. Simple. HISSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

I tend to agree and think he was being honest but I don't see the problem even if he had spies. Knowing what's coming and stopping it are two entirely different beasts.
Unfortunately you can't win on this subject. People will see and hear what they want and your opinion is not gonna change their mind.
The reality is that only Jose knows if it's true or not.
