Whether we like it or not, the casuals drive the money part of this industry.

I would guess a huge percentage of their sales were to consumers that would not know what the initials MMA stand for, nor care.

MMA purests truly hated seeing these shirts on anyone.

They did not make their fortune from its MMA fanbase.

That whole post is pure speculation on your part.

I do BJJ and have a tapout shirt....as do most of the guys in my classes....all the way up to black belts.

So trying to sound all high and mighty and calling yourself a "purist" and tapout wearers are "non-purist" is utter bullshit. People who actually train do also wear the shirts.
